Frequently Asked Questions
How to Cut Perspex Sheets?
Depending on your level of experience and equipment available, there are a few ways to cut Perspex Sheets. Powered saws with blades having alternative teeth bevelled, as for aluminium, are particularly recommended for sawing Perspex. As are band saws, jigsaws and fret saws. A hand saw can be used, though this must be done slowly and with focused attention. Alternatively, a scribe can be used for less technical cutting, scoring the material in a line, then breaking the edge to get the required size.

How to Drill Holes into Perspex Sheets?
To drill Perspex Sheets, firstly mark on the panel where you are wanting to add the hole, while the protective film is still on. We recommend adding a piece of wood behind the panel, to keep the panel sturdy during drilling. Then drill slowly through the acrylic, keeping the panel pressed to the wood. After all required holes are drilled, then the protective film can be removed.

Do Acrylic Panels have Protective Film on them?
Yes, all our items are sent out with protective film on both sides – Except Mirror colours which only have film on the front. The film is easy to remove, use your nail to lift the edge and then pull the film off gently. Alternatively, double sided tape can be used to aid this.
How to Clean Perspex Sheets?
To clean acrylic sheets, a soft clean cloth and warm soapy water can be used to remove any stubborn dirt. Harsh chemicals and bleach should be avoided, at this can tarnish and craze the material.
